Collection of Personal Information

We collect personal information that you volunteer while using our website. Personal information includes any information you provide to us when ordering our products and services or when voluntarily submitting your contact information. We use your personal information for communicating with you, fulfilling orders, creating your account, and sending you information or promotional materials about our products and services. 

The content on our website serves adult professional educators. Our website does not collect any information from children under the age of 18. 

We may share your personal information with affiliate companies that host or provide support services to us, help us market our products and services, or allow us to deliver our courses or communicate with you (e.g., email service provider, online survey providers, email marketing providers, virtual meeting and webinar providers, cloud storage providers, apps). These affiliate companies may need information about you in order to perform their functions; they are not authorized to use the information we share with them for any other purpose.

We may share personal information and other data with businesses controlling, controlled by, or under common control with Vivido. If Vivido is merged, acquired, or sold, or if some or all of our assets or equity are transferred, we may disclose or transfer personal information and other data in connection with associated transactions.

We will not use your personal information for any other use without your express consent, and we will not sell, barter, give away, distribute, or disclose any personal information you give us to other individuals or any other entity. 

Vivido’s corporate offices are located in the United States. We may store and/or transfer personal information provided by you from other countries to our affiliates and partners in and outside of the United States. You consent to such transfer by using Vivido’s websites and/or services. 

We may disclose your personal information as required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a legal request by a public authority.

Collection of Non-personal Information

We may use Tracking Technologies to collect non-personal information, such as traffic data and analytics, cookies, and similar technologies. These data are used to gather general statistics about our customers and website visitors but not in a way that identifies any user specifically.  

We may place an electronic “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. Cookies are pieces of data that a website transfers for record-keeping purposes. Cookies do not enable us to access any of your personal information, and Vivido does not use cookies to retrieve any information from your computer that was not originally sent in a cookie through forms you submit to us. 

Cookies allow Vivido to identify which areas of our websites and aspects of our services are most useful and popular so we can make improvements (e.g., by counting the number of times a page has been viewed). We work with third party analytics providers to understand how visitors use our website. In association with these providers, we may collect your unique device identifier. This information is for Vivido’s use only and is not shared with any other third parties. It allows us to improve the services we provide you. 

You may choose to disable some Tracking Technologies through your device settings. If you do, our applications may cease to operate fully or correctly. 

We may disclose your non-personal information if required by law or in the event of a company sale or proposed change of ownership. We may also disclose it to protect Vivido’s rights and properties or to investigate fraud or intellectual property infringement.

Our email marketing is strictly permission-based. At any point, you may opt out from receiving marketing or promotional emails we may send you by: 

  • clicking the “manage preferences” link at the bottom of our email, or

Confidentiality and Security

We employ 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software for all credit card transactions. It encrypts all of your personal and financial information so that it cannot be read as it travels over the internet. Your information is secured both to our internet service provider when you submit an order and from our ISP to us when we receive your order. 

Our website includes links to third party websites. Our Privacy Policy applies only to our websites and not to other websites or apps accessible from our website. Our credit card processor is Stripe, whose privacy policy and terms of service are here. Our courses and webinars are hosted by, whose privacy policy is here. Vivido is in no way responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

We incorporate commercially reasonable safeguards to help protect and secure your personal and non-personal information. However, no data transmission over the internet, mobile networks, wireless transmission or electronic storage of information can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You provide us with information at your own risk.

Data Choices and Rights for EU Citizens

If you are located in the EU, please note that you have the following rights with respect to how Vivido processes your personal data.

  • You have the right to request a copy of the personal data that Vivido has about you;
  • You have the right to request that Vivido corrects information about you if you believe it to be inaccurate;
  • You have the right to request that Vivido erase or refrain from using your personal data. In some circumstances, Vivido may decline this request (e.g., when we have an on-going business relationship with you or we are legally required to retain the information). If Vivido cannot honor your request, we will inform you of this fact as well as the reasons for our decision; and
  • You have the right to raise objections and/or concerns regarding the processing of your personal information by Vivido.
